Canidae Development has developed a data collection methodology working with conservation dogs that is reliable, accurate, and efficient in a range of different environments from open plains through to dense bushland.

 

Our teams work on government, industry, and not for profit projects providing quality data, with a high level of confidence, for evidence based management plans.

Canidae Development specifically selects our dogs based on their suitability for working in the natural environment. All our teams undergo rigorous assessments to demonstrate their detectability rates and ability to work safely whilst providing reliable, accurate data collection with minimal impact to the environment and our target species.

Our handlers own their dogs, ensuring their health and well-being (our top priority) is maintained throughout training, working, and retirement.
