Conservation Dogs Australia
Dogs In Training
Our training practices are developed from on our international and field experience with initial training centred on safely working in the natural environmental and around animals (native and domestic).
Training begins in the early days of a new puppy or rescued dog coming to us with a focus on the handlers establishing a strong bond with their dogs. Our dogs are owned and housed with their handlers and are considered part of the family.
All dogs are a minimum of 18 months old and have successfully completed all our assessments before working in the field. This ensures our dogs are both mentally and physically mature. Until then it is all a big game.
With everything we do the health and wellbeing of our dogs is our top priority.
